Job summary

Little Land Pediatric Therapy & Play Gym is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat children from toddlers through adolescents. The role includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing goals with families, and delivering play-based therapy addressing articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and AAC.

Applicants should have a Master’s in SLP, ASHA CCC-SLP, Texas license or eligibility, CPR certification, and a passion for working with kids and families.

Qualifications

• Must have Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
• Active Texas SLP license or intern license, or eligibility to obtain before start date.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations using standardized assessments (e.g., CELF-5, PLS-5, GFTA-3) and observations.
• Develop individualized, measurable goals and plans of care with families.
• Provide evidence-based, play-based treatment for articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and AAC.
• Coach parents/caregivers with home strategies to sustain progress.
• Write timely daily notes, progress reports, and re-evaluations meeting payer/ Texas requirements.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, and ABA colleagues on shared clients; co-treat when appropriate.
• Supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows when eligible.
• Maintain weekly productivity targets with protected documentation time.

Job description

We're hiring a Pediatric SLP to evaluate and treat children from toddlers through adolescents. You'll support kids with articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, apraxia, fluency, social communication, and AAC needs, many of whom also have autism, ADHD, or developmental delays.

Role

• Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations using standardized assessments (e.g., CELF-5, PLS-5, GFTA-3) and clinical observation.
• Develop individualized, measurable goals and plans of care in partnership with families.
• Deliver evidence-based, play-based treatment for articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and AAC.
• Coach parents and caregivers with practical home strategies that carry progress beyond the session.
• Write timely, accurate daily notes, progress reports, and re-evaluations that meet payer and Texas regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, and ABA colleagues on shared clients and co-treat when it serves the child.
• Supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows, if interested and eligible.
• Meet a weekly productivity target that leaves protected time for documentation.

Required

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program.

• A genuine love of working with kids and their families.

Preferred

• 1+ years of pediatric experience; Clinical Fellows with pediatric externships are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with AAC, PROMPT, or early-intervention populations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Schedule

Our clinic is open seven days a week: Monday–Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday–Sunday 9am–4pm. Full-time is 36+ hours per week, and we'll work with you to build a schedule that fits your life. Every shift includes a one-hour lunch break.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $32–$42 per hour, based on experience
• Weekend stipend: an extra $5 per hour on every weekend hour you work.
