Job summary

ADAPT Community Network in New York City seeks a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive assessments and therapy for students under IFSP/IEP plans. The role includes consultative collaboration with parents and education teams to support communication goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology required.
• Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology and ASHA CCC required.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech and language assessment and evaluation to determine student’s developmental level and needs.
• Plans and conducts speech and language interventions in accordance with established goals.
• Implements testing procedures to evaluate and monitor student progress as required by regulatory agencies.
• Maintains documentation and reports progress to families and school teams.
• Supervises CFY students as assigned.
