Job summary

ADAPT Community Network is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat students under IFSP/IEP. You will work with families and school teams to implement evidence-based interventions and AAC approaches.

You’ll maintain documentation, monitor progress, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings, while complying with regulatory requirements and delivering high-quality services across New York locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology is required.
• Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology; ASHA CCC required.
• NYSED Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing (TSHH) mandated.
• CFY candidates may be supervised; bilingual extension if applicable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language assessment and therapy for students.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor progress; write reports to EI/CPSE/CSE.
• Use AAC devices and alternative communication techniques.
• Maintain attendance records and progress notes; communicate with families.
• Participate in team meetings and ensure services align with goals.
