Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to support school district placements in Eastern Suffolk County, NY. The role offers school-hours work, Monday through Friday, and hourly compensation ranging from $60 to $120 per hour, with higher rates for larger groups.

Requirements include current NYS licensure as an SLP, NYSED TSSLD or TSHH, and CCC-SLP. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a setting supporting children and families.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individual and group speech-language interventions.
• Administer and write up speech-language evaluations.
• Communicate with lead supervisors and coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families and school teams.
• Maintain attendance and billing logs and schedule with families/school personnel.
• Collect data on IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Attend CSE meetings and annual reviews.
