Family of Kidz in New York State is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for school district placements in Eastern Suffolk County. The role is primarily during school hours with compensation ranging from $60 to $120 per hour, and higher rates for larger groups.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH
• CCC-SLP certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience with children and families
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individual and group speech therapy interventions
• Administer and write speech-language evaluations
• Communicate with supervisors and coordinators regarding caseloads
• Maintain professional interactions with families and school teams
• Maintain attendance and billing logs
• Create and manage schedules with families and school staff
• Collect data on IEP goals and report progress quarterly
• Attend CSE meetings and participate in annual reviews
