Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our children’s ABA autism center. We work with children ages 2-5 who have been diagnosed with autism. The ideal candidate will provide specialized speech therapy services to children in both of our ABA centers located in Augusta and Bangor, traveling between the centers. Per diem rate is $60‑65 per hour. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in pediatric patients with a focus on early intervention. The Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist will develop tailored treatment plans to support each child’s unique needs.

Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment results
  • Provide evidence‑based speech therapy interventions aimed at improving communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, and social communication
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support speech development at home and in educational settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulations
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatrics, early intervention techniques, and medical terminology relevant to speech‑language pathology
