Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to help children develop communication skills from birth to 18 years. You’ll design and implement therapy plans, set measurable goals, and work closely with families to reinforce progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology and Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or licensure eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients from birth to 18 years.
• Create client-specific goals to improve communication using verbal and non-verbal skills.
• Support families to help sustain treatment gains at home and in daily life.

Education

Praxis Examination completed / CFY

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language PathologyCompletion of your Clinical Fellowship Year
• SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
