Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Arnold Palmer Hospital Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation program.

The role focuses on evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in children and teens, within a collaborative, fast-paced pediatric setting. The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, Florida licensure, CCC-SLP (or CFY), and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program.
• CCC-SLP certification or successful CFY completion.
• Current Florida license to practice speech-language pathology.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and gathers data from multiple sources to guide care.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with clear goals.
• Assesses patient status and adjusts care as needed per age requirements.
• Demonstrates competence with equipment and provides explanations of use.
• Re-evaluates goals and documents progress and outcomes.
• Ensures accurate billing and compliance with policies.
