Job summary

Theracare Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for our outpatient clinic in Fishers. The PRN, part-time role focuses on evaluating and treating pediatric patients under physician orders, with emphasis on speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders.

You will join a dedicated therapy team, educate families, and collaborate with regional management. New graduates welcome; prior pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• 1+ year pediatrics experience preferred; new grads welcome.

• Willingness to provide therapy services at outpatient clinic.
• Demonstrate competency in applying therapy principles, methods and equipment.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

• Work as part of a team within Speech/Language Pathology; provide support and information.

The Speech/Language Pathologist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology. In addition, the Speech/Language Pathologist will educate and inform parents and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in pediatricspeech pathology

New graduates encouraged to apply

Willingness to provide therapy services at our outpatient clinic at times to accommodate the needs of our clients

Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
