Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students at campuses near Madison, IL. This full-time contract role involves travel between sites to provide direct therapy and IEP services. You will collaborate with teachers and families to promote student growth.

Job description

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to make a difference in the lives of elementary students! This full-time, contract position offers the chance to support young learners by providing high-quality speech and language services within a welcoming school community near Madison, IL.

As part of a supportive network of campuses closely situated within blocks of each other, you'll serve a manageable caseloadlast years numbers averaged around 23 students, primarily within the elementary age range, with a few students located at neighboring sites. Enjoy variety in your daily work as you collaborate with passionate educators and families to foster student growth.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active SLP license or eligibility in Illinois (ASHA CCC preferred; CFY candidates encouraged)
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare-focused speech-language pathology

  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide direct therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Support inclusion and academic success for students receiving SLP services
  • Maintain organized caseload records, progress notes, and service logs
  • Travel between campuses (short distance) as needed to provide consistent support
  • Consult with educators and families on student progress and intervention strategies

Position Perks:

  • Full-time hours (7.5-hour days), typically 8:00 AM3:30 PM, with some flexibility depending on service schedule
