Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Westlake Medical Campus is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services in outpatient rehabilitation. The role involves evaluating communication and swallowing functions and developing individualized therapy plans for patients in a one‑on‑one setting.

You will interpret test results, counsel patients and families, and coordinate care across Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech‑language pathology required.
• State licensure or eligibility required for SP license.
• CCC‑SLP certification from ASHA preferred.
• Completion of a nine‑month clinical fellowship year required or completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic speech pathology test procedures and evaluate communication and swallowing function.
• Interpret and report test results to facilitate medical diagnosis and therapy planning.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families about communication and diagnosis.
• Determine therapeutic plans, including frequency and duration of therapy.
• Maintain records of all services and communicate results to referral sources and outside agencies.
• Maintain speech pathology equipment and materials and assist with planning and budgeting.
