Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Ohio licensure in Speech Pathology required.
• ASHA certification or eligible for supervision by a certified SLP during a fellowship required.
• CPR certification required no later than 60 days post hire.
• Previous pediatric experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates pediatric patients to determine developmental and functional status using standardized measures or clinical observations.
• Develops individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patient and family.
• Delivers therapeutic interventions to improve communication, swallowing, or speech-language function.
• Educates patients and families on treatment goals and exercises to be done at home.
• Documents progress and maintains caseload documentation and billing records.
• Collaborates with physicians, payors, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Provides educational programs for hospital staff, students, and community; supervises students and fellows.
