UTMB Health in Galveston, TX is seeking a full-time Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Center for Audiology and Speech Pathology. The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluation and both habilitative and rehabilitative therapies for pediatric patients in outpatient settings.

Formación

• Master's degree in a related field and three years of related experience post CFY or resident year.
• Certification or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Licensure or eligible for Speech-Language Pathology License from the Texas State Board for SLP and Audiology.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional skills in the comprehensive evaluation of patients with speech and language impairments and to provide habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services.
• Our Speech Pathology program includes services in acute care and outpatient settings: feeding assessments, swallowing studies, videostroboscopy and voice treatment, trach/ventilator dependent patients, and therapy for head and neck cancer patients; supervise clinical fellows.
