Job summary

Connecticut Children’s is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and rehabilitative services to pediatric patients in acute and outpatient settings. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology or equivalent is required.
• Three years experience in pediatrics and/or hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of professional speech-language pathology practices and codes.

Responsibilities

• Screen, diagnose, intervene and follow up for articulation, language and swallowing disorders.
• Consult with families and professionals; refer when appropriate.
• Fit devices and provide aural rehabilitation and counseling.
• Prepare reports and monitor adherence to policies and productivity metrics.
