Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ROD Island State License or provisional license for clinical fellows.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pursuing certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates speech, voice, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or cognitive impairments.
• Establishes diagnosis, prognosis, and individualized plans of care.
• Implements treatment and manages plans of care with safety considerations.
• Directs and coordinates patients’ rehabilitation plan of care.
• Evaluates progress and revises goals accordingly.
• Educates and trains patients and caregivers.
• Discharges planning and resource coordination.
• Completes clinical documentation and billing per policy.
