Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Broomall, PA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (Full-Time) to join our outpatient program. You will evaluate and treat children from birth to 18, document thoroughly, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.

The role requires PA licensure (or provisional), a second DE license, and ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY in-process. Pediatric experience and feeding experience are preferred; BLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited university is required.
• 3–6 months of experience preferred; new grads considered based on education.
• PA SLP license or provisional license required on hire.
• A second license (DE) is required for all clinical positions; submit within 2 weeks.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY in-process with goal of CCC-SLP within 10–12 months.
• PA clearances are required on hire.
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Membership in ASHA or State SLP associations preferred.
• Pediatric experience and feeding experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in pediatric Speech Therapy for patients from birth to 18 years.
• Provide speech therapy services to diverse patient types and seek mentorship as needed.
• Complete timely documentation per departmental policy and standards.
• Attend meetings and collaborate as an interdisciplinary team member.
• Consult with other services, families, and outside agencies for equipment, home/school modifications, and transition planning.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance referrals and documentation requirements.
