Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support children with special needs in Kingston, NY. The role may be part-time or fee-for-service, with potential for full-time depending on caseload. Compensation is competitive and aligned to experience.

Responsibilities include designing therapeutic interventions, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with families and schools. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with NYSED certification (TSSLD or TSHH).
• Experience working with students with autism preferred.
• Experience programming Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and report on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
