Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist in Dutchess County, NY. Position offers part-time status with potential for full-time and fee-for-service options depending on caseload. Compensation is $112/hour, with rates determined by service, experience, and licensure.

Responsibilities include designing interventions, conducting evaluations, and coordinating with supervisors. Relevant NYSED certificates and autism experience are preferred; AAC devices experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with NYSED certification.
• Experience with autism preferred.
• Experience programming AAC devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and annual reviews.
