Job summary

Family of Kidz in Dutchess County, NY is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist to design and deliver therapy for children in home, daycare, or community settings. This role can be part-time with fee-for-service options or potentially full-time, with compensation at $112 per hour.

Ideal candidates are licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with NYSED certification (TSSLD or TSHH). Experience with autism and AAC devices is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in NY
• NYSED TSSLD or TSHH certification
• Experience with autism preferred
• Experience programming AAC devices
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
