Family of Kidz in Dutchess County, NY is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist to design and implement speech-language interventions for children within home, daycare, or community settings. The role offers part-time opportunities with potential for full-time caseload depending on current needs and interview outcomes.

The position notes a compensation rate of $112/hour, with a range that depends on service type, experience, and licenses.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist per NYSED requirements
• Experience with autism preferred
• Experience programming AAC devices
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
