Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current state license/certification in speech-language pathology.
• Minimum of one year experience in pediatric speech pathology preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Competency in applying speech therapy principles, methods, and equipment.
• Familiarity with a wide range of pediatric speech and language disorders.
• Experience with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric patients.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and healthcare compliance.
• Willingness to provide therapy at the outpatient clinic with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs and goals.
• Provide therapy using evidence-based techniques and innovative approaches.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for holistic care.
• Educate and support parents and caregivers on home-based strategies and exercises.
• Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology and integrate new techniques.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a positive environment for patients and families.
