Job summary

Theracare INC, in Osceola, IN, is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for our pediatric outpatient clinic. You will evaluate and treat children with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.

You will educate families, maintain detailed records, and stay current with industry advancements while supporting a flexible, patient-focused clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current state license/certification in speech-language pathology.
• Minimum of one year experience in pediatric speech pathology preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Competency in applying principles and equipment used in speech therapy.
• Familiarity with a wide range of pediatric speech and language disorders.
• Experience with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric patients.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements in healthcare settings.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate and support parents and caregivers on home strategies.
