The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Department of Pediatrics to join a multidisciplinary team in Peoria, IL.

This role focuses on evaluating and treating children with swallowing, feeding, and communication disorders, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other clinical staff. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Illinois licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred/required.

Responsabilités

• Provide developmentally appropriate evaluation and treatment for children with swallowing and feeding disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, nurses, social workers, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Educate families on safe feeding techniques and home strategies.
• Document care in the medical record and communicate with the team.
