Job summary

Amazing Care Home Health Services seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver in-home therapy across Utah County. You’ll develop and implement plans to improve communication, feeding/swallowing, and cognitive functioning in home and community settings.

Part-time schedule: 10–20 visits per week. Requires SLP master’s/doctorate, Utah license, ASHA or PRAXIS, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance. Mileage provided.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Utah SLP license and ASHA certification or PRAXIS.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluations and develop treatment plans with goals.
  • Develop and implement speech-language therapy plans for clients in-home.
  • Coordinate care with physicians and other health professionals.
  • Instruct clients and caregivers on treatment plans.
  • Prepare and submit documentation and maintain competency.

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Utah County area. A speech-language pathologist (SLP) will implement treatment plans to assist clients of all ages with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional functioning by developing and administering speech therapy services in the home and community settings.

  • Provides compassionate and high-quality care that meets the needs of the client and family by performing evaluations and interpreting assessment results, developing a plan of care including skilled interventions and goals appropriate to the client's needs, and creating and implementing speech and language treatment plans in conjunction with the physician.
  • Assists pediatric and adult patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional functioning and improves their level of independence and quality of life.
  • Coordinates care with referring physician and other health care organizations and personnel to ensure safe, appropriate, and effective care for the client.
  • Instructs client, family/caregiver, and other organization health care personnel in the client's treatment plan as indicated.
  • Identifies client and family/caregiver needs for other services and refers as appropriate.
  • Prepares and submits documentation per organization policy.
  • Maintains clinical competency in the theory and practice of speech-language pathology.

Mileage provided for commuting between patient visits

Schedule:

Part-Time Days ,10-20 visits per week

  • A master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology (SLP)
  • ASHA Certification or documentation of passing PRAXIS exam and completion of a Clinical Fellow/Externship
  • Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of Utah
  • Active BLS certification
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in Speech Language Pathology is preferred, but not required
