Downriver Speech Clinic is seeking a part-time Pediatric Speech Therapist to provide after-school and evening therapy to children in a supportive clinic setting. The role offers a flexible schedule (2–5 days, 4–40 hours per week) with independent work and ample therapy materials.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure; pediatric experience is preferred but not required. This W2 position emphasizes compassionate care and team collaboration.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and flexible Pediatric Speech Therapist (Clinical Fellows welcome to apply) to join our clinic on a part-time basis. This is a W2 position, ideal for a therapist who enjoys working with children and can provide therapy services after school hours and evenings. You will be able to work with a caseload of children, with a flexible schedule anywhere from 2 to 5 days a week, with hours ranging from 4 to 40 per week. The work environment is supportive and independent, with access to a large supply of therapy materials to help make your sessions more effective and enjoyable for both you and the clients!

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized speech therapy services to children with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals
• Assess and track progress, providing updates to parents/guardians as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping in line with clinic policies
• Ensure therapy sessions are engaging and motivating for children, incorporating fun and interactive activities
• Work with a flexible caseload and adjust hours as needed based on you or your client's availability

Requirements

• Must have after school/evening appointment availability
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience working with pediatric clients preferred but not required
• Ability to work after-school hours and provide 4-20+ hours per week
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
