Happyian Therapy & Academy is expanding and seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our collaborative, play-based team. We prioritize mentorship, confidence-building, and high-quality clinical care.

We offer part-time and full-time opportunities as well as hourly and salary-based positions. We provide play-based, relationship-centered therapy with a focus on expressive and receptive language, AAC, social communication, and pragmatic skills.

Qualifications

• Illinois SLP license or temporary license (CFs).
• Current CCC in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility following CF year.
• Pediatric experience preferred, not required.
• Strong interest in collaborative, play-based, family-centered care.

Position Options

• Full‑Time: 30+ billable hours – Starting at $50/hour
• Part‑Time: 18+ billable hours – Starting at $51/hour

Our Clinical Approach

We provide play‑based, relationship‑centered speech and language therapy, informed by DIR and developmental frameworks. Treatment targets include expressive and receptive language, AAC, social communication, and pragmatic skills, with an emphasis on functional communication, self‑advocacy, and generalization across environments. Family education and interdisciplinary collaboration are integral components of care.

Mentorship & Support

• 10 hours/month of direct mentorship and supervision
• Supervision reassessed annually based on clinician needs
• Paid administrative time
• Strong support for Clinical Fellows and developing clinicians

Continuing Education

• Annual CEU stipend for both full‑time and part‑time employees
