Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Speech‑Language Pathologist license through the Arizona Department of Health Services.
  • Experience or interest in early intervention and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational and physical therapists.

Arbor Therapy is hiring a Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our Mesa clinic team! In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence‑based therapy services to support children and families in developing communication, feeding, and language skills. Role Overview
  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions to support optimal outcomes
  • Educate and involve parents and caregivers in the therapy process
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational and physical therapists
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation of services
  • Provide mentorship and supervision for students or assistants when applicable
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Speech‑Language Pathologist license through the Arizona Department of Health Services
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one
  • Experience or interest in early intervention and developmental disabilities
  • Passion for professional growth and continuing education
  • Positive and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred
  • Experience with AAC is a plus
  • Bilingualism is a plus
Schedule

Consistent weekly schedule:

  • Tuesday: 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM (30‑minute break)
  • Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (30‑minute break)
  • Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (30‑minute break)
  • Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (30‑minute break)
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30‑minute break)
Working Conditions

This role requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. You may work closely with clients who have developmental, behavioral, or physical diagnoses and who may occasionally exhibit challenging behaviors.
