Job summary

Ascension is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for St. Vincent Pediatric Therapy Centers in Indiana. The role focuses on designing and delivering personalized interventions to help children regain voice, communication, and swallowing safety.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credential from the Indiana Board of Speech-Language Pathology Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Provisional license accepted until issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credential from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Provisional license accepted until issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalized speech-language interventions to help patients regain voice, communication, and swallowing safety.
• Educate and counsel patients and families to support confidence in the recovery journey.
• Document patient progress with precision to maintain high-quality clinical records.
• Create comprehensive discharge plans and connect patients with community support programs.
