Job summary

Family of Kidz in Hawthorne, NY is seeking a Speech Therapist Clinical Fellow (CFY) for a full-time, center-based role. You will design and implement therapeutic interventions, administer evaluations, and collaborate with BCBA and Special Educators to support language and communication.

Licensed SLP or CFY candidate with NYSED TSSLD certification required; autism experience preferred; AAC device programming experience a plus; generous benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist required per NYSED.
• NYSED TSSLD or TSHH certification required.
• Clinical Fellows must have NYSED TSSLD certification.
• Experience with autism preferred.
• Experience programming AAC devices.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for caseload.
• Administer and create speech and language evaluations.
• Collaborate with BCBA and Special Educators on language and communication.
• Oversee AAC devices and usage.
• Apply behavior management strategies during sessions.
• Maintain professionalism with families and schools.
• Maintain attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedule.
• Collect data on IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
