Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with OP feeding experience to join our innovative pediatric feeding team. The SLP will work with our most fragile pediatric patients in partnership with the Multidisciplinary Complex Care program and will build a new service in the Kennebunk clinic.

The role reports to the 4 Shape Dr. location and offers opportunities to collaborate across MMC with patient-centered care, professional development, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
  • Current applicable state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required or compliant with state practice act.
  • BLS certification required or obtainable within 30 days of start date.
  • ASHA certification preferred.
  • Driver's license with vehicle for home care as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language pathology services for pediatric patients, including OP feeding.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Complex Care program and MMC team.
  • Independently manage a new pediatric feeding service at the Kennebunk clinic (with MMC support).
  • Report to the 4 Shape Dr. location in Kennebunk.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Certification in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
  • Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $77,147.20to $104,353.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
