Job summary

Napacenter is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP. You will support pediatric clients with neurological, developmental, and feeding needs through supervised intervention and activity-based assessments.

Responsibilities include collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress, and implementing evidence-based strategies. The role emphasizes compassionate care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current and active SLPA license per state.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and parents.
• DOJ and FBI background clearance required; CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised intervention and support assessment activities for pediatric speech, language, social communication and feeding needs.
• Collaborate with supervising SLP to implement treatment plans and inform referrals when needed.
• Assist with client assessment using standardized tools and clinical observations.
• Educate families and caregivers to support carryover in daily environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coding in the EHR system.
• Participate in professional development and adhere to policies.
