Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital Therapy Services in Bloomington seeks a full-time outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to support pediatric patients in a newly remodeled Pediatric Sensory Gym.

The clinic offers a collaborative environment with OT and PT, a flexible 8 am–5 pm schedule, and a competitive hourly rate with a strong benefits package. Experience with pediatrics and feeding therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires state licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
• Experience working with pediatric populations and feeding therapy preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative hospital-based therapy department.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive skills and develop individualized plans.
• Provide evidence-based treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Document thoroughly, bill accurately, and communicate with families and staff.
• Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with department policies.
