Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital Therapy Services is seeking a full-time outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist for our Bloomington location. The clinic will feature a Pediatric Sensory Gym with connected private treatment rooms and collaboration with OT/PT.

Experience with pediatrics and feeding therapy is preferred. Regular 8 am–5 pm schedule, no weekend coverage required, and a competitive hourly rate with benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or registration in progress is acceptable.
• Experience with pediatric speech-language pathology and feeding therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Collaborate with therapy team and nursing staff in various care settings.
• Document services accurately and maintain patient privacy.
• Assist in discharge planning and family education.
