Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital Therapy Services is seeking a full-time outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist for our new Bloomington location. The clinic will be a Pediatric Sensory Gym with connected private rooms and collaborative treatment with OT/PT.

Experience with pediatrics and feeding therapy is preferred. Regular hours are 8 am–5 pm, 40 hours weekly, with no weekend coverage. Competitive hourly rate and strong benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
• Experience in pediatrics and feeding therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats speech, language, swallowing and cognitive skills.
• Develops individualized treatment plans with goals and timelines.
• Administers therapy and monitors patient progress.
• Documents thoroughly, timely and in compliance with policy.
• Collaborates with OT/PT and involves families in care.
• Participates in discharge planning and education.
