Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based contract near Tecumseh, MI. You will support students’ communication development as part of interdisciplinary teams dedicated to helping children succeed academically and socially.

The ideal candidate holds a CCC, state licensure, and pediatric school-based experience, and demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills in a collaborative education setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• State licensure to practice as an SLP
• CCC required
• Strong background in pediatric speech-language therapy
• Familiarity with IEP processes
• Prior experience in school settings preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability skills
• Dedication to fostering student growth and confidence

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to set achievable goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Promote a supportive, inclusive learning environment
• Offer resources and guidance for families and staff regarding communication development
