Job summary

NovaCare Kids is seeking a part-time pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in Kalamazoo, MI. The role includes mentoring in pediatric SLP areas such as feeding therapy and AAC, with new graduates welcome to apply for CFY completion.

This position offers a strong mentorship environment and a schedule of Mondays and Fridays. The candidate should have a strong pediatric focus and be licensed and ASHA-certified, with required practicum

Qualifications

• Must hold SLP licensure in the state.
• ASHA certification is required.
• Minimum 300 practicum hours completed.
• Strong pediatric focus in school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with centers and patients to provide quality care.
• Coordinate treatment programs with other clinical/therapeutic services.
• Evaluate patients and establish treatment goals to maximize outcomes.
• Meet ASHA minimum standards for initiation of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) including 36 credit hours.
• State SLP licensure and ASHA certification are required.
