Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Intern Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy in the home health setting. You will evaluate patients, direct caregivers, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to support communication goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state-issued professional licensure required.
• Valid state driver license required.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical speech therapy to pediatric patients in home health settings.
• Evaluate, organize, and conduct medically prescribed speech therapy.
• Direct the patient and caregiver in tasks to reinforce and enhance performance.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain progress notes and communicate with families about therapy plans.
• Participate in supervised visits and Quality Assurance activities.
• Back-up service provider for other caseloads as needed.
