Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric services in patients' homes or daytime facilities. You will assess, diagnose, and plan treatment for ages 0–21, with a focus on speech, language, voice, swallowing, feeding and related disorders.

Travel to patient homes is required, with supervision opportunities for fellows as applicable. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate families and caregivers, and adjust plans to

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP Clinical Fellowship completed.
• Texas licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience with pediatric populations is required.
• Feeding therapy experience is required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, 2+ visits weekly.
• Assess degree and type of speech, language, voice, feeding, swallowing and related disorders.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to plan goals and interventions.
• Modify care plans to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers and patients with training materials and in-service sessions.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.
