Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in Texas is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat children in their homes. You’ll address speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs while building strong relationships with families.

This role offers flexible scheduling across Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN, with sign-on bonus for full-time caseloads, dedicated clinical support, and comprehensive benefits including PTO, holidays, and retirement options.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Current Texas SLP license or eligibility by start date.
  • One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Pediatric experience preferred; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs.
  • Provide speech therapy addressing communication, feeding, swallowing, and language development.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support growth.
  • Educate families on carryover strategies for home.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated care.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
