Job summary

MedCare Pediatric seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-home pediatric therapy, evaluating and treating speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs in a patient-centered, home-based setting. The role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive team focused on quality care and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Texas licensure or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate families on strategies for carryover at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications and Responsibilities:
