Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in Texas seeks a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver one-on-one evaluations and therapy in children’s homes, supporting their communication, feeding, and swallowing goals.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric speech and language needs, create individual treatment plans, document progress, and educate families, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a flexible, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Texas SLP license, or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language, feeding, and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to support growth.
• Educate families and caregivers on carryover strategies at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
