Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat children in their homes, focusing on communication, feeding, and swallowing needs.

The role offers flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN), pediatric caseloads, mentorship, and comprehensive benefits including PTO, holidays, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate families and caregivers on carryover strategies at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program

Texas SLP license or eligible

1 year pediatric experience preferred

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
