Job summary
THERAPY 2000, a mission-driven pediatric therapy provider serving Texas families, seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for home-based care. You will evaluate communication disorders, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy in patients’ homes with compassion.
You’ll collaborate with families and physicians, create home exercise programs, ensure timely charting, and participate in continuing education.
Qualifications
- Current/active Texas license to practice Speech Language Pathology.
- Innovative spirit with reliable track record.
- Flexibility to shift priorities based on business needs.
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
- Develop home exercise programs with patients’ caregivers.
- Collaborate and coordinate care between providers and disciplines.
- Meet minimum patient visits weekly as required.
- Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, logs and paperwork.
- Attend agency meetings to understand expectations and standards.
- Comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Adhere to laws applicable to home-health pediatric SLP.
