Job summary

Proficio Therapy Services in Livermore, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (CF) to join our pediatric therapy team. The SLP CF will provide speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP in accordance with ASHA guidelines, gaining mentored clinical experience while completing the Clinical Fellowship.

The role offers structured mentorship, professional development, and hands-on experience within a supportive environment, preparing you for licensure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF) status per ASHA guidelines.
• Eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Intern / CF.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication therapy sessions for pediatric clients.
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Collect and analyze client data to track progress and support intervention adjustments.
• Prepare clinical documentation, progress notes, and reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in regular supervision and mentorship sessions with the assigned licensed SLP.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including BCBAs, Occupational Therapists, educators, and caregivers.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding therapy goals, progress, and home strategies.
• Adhere to ASHA guidelines, state licensure requirements, and ethical standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in required trainings, team meetings, and professional development activities.
