Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide individualized therapy for children across a team of clinicians. The role supports evaluations, treatment planning, and family-centered care in a pediatric setting.

We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options with weekday, after-school, and Saturday availability. Benefits include PTO, holidays, and comprehensive insurance to support clinicians and families.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start date.
  • One year of experience preferred; CFYs and new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide pediatric speech therapy focusing on articulation, language, feeding/swallowing, fluency, and social communication.
  • Deliver therapy sessions to improve functional communication and independence.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate parents/caregivers on strategies to support progress at home.
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPAs, nurses, and other professionals for family-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation according to standards.

As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children and their families by providing individualized speech, language, feeding, and swallowing therapy. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who share your passion for helping children build essential skills and reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based pediatric speech therapy services targeting:
    • Speech sound disorders and articulation
    • Language delays and communication disorders
    • Feeding and swallowing challenges
    • Fluency and social communication skills
  • Deliver personalized therapy sessions focused on improving functional communication and independence.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to support positive outcomes.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress at home.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide family-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
  • One year of experience preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Pediatric speech therapy experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children and families.
