Job summary

Children's Mercy Kansas City seeks a Respiratory Therapist specializing in sleep medicine to provide polysomnographic study procedures under the direct supervision of the Medical Director and Sleep Center Director.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document services accurately, and assist in staff orientation while upholding the hospital's commitment to inclusive care and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher from an accredited CoARC program.
• 1-2 years clinical respiratory therapist experience; pediatric critical care preferred.
• Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required.
• CRT or RRT required upon hire; Missouri/Kansas state requirements.
• Must obtain RPSGT within 365 days; Missouri and Kansas state requirements within 60 days.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire; PEARS within 90 days.
