Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Polysomnographic/Sleep Technologist II to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including diagnostic and therapeutic services, with independent practice and supervision of Tech I.

Strong communication skills are essential. Responsibilities include performing PSG procedures, maintaining competencies, mentoring Tech I and students, and performing duties as requested.

Qualifications

• ABRET/AASM accredited END program or equivalent or high school diploma required.
• Two years’ experience performing PSG studies in a patient care setting.
• BRPT credential (RPSGT) and BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Performs polysomnography procedures appropriate to RPSGT credentials.
• Maintains continuing education and competencies; updates to industry standards.
• Mentors and tutors Tech I and students; supports supervision.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as requested.
