Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Clinic is seeking a part-time Sickle Cell Nurse to support pediatric patients with sickle cell disease. The RN will provide specialized nursing care, perform assessments, educate families, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include symptom management, care coordination, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care during 8-hour shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one additional weekday as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• State RN license.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Two+ years of nursing experience; pediatrics hematology/oncology and sickle cell preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care and care coordination for pediatric sickle cell disease.
• Assess patients, educate families, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care and promote patient experience across the continuum.
