Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a school setting near Saint Clair Shores, MI. This full-time contract role (35-40 hours/week) involves collaborating with educators, families, and special education teams to help students achieve communication goals.

The ideal candidate will hold a Michigan SLP license and CCC-SLP, with pediatric or school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Current and active Michigan SLP license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings.
• Expertise assessing and supporting a broad range of speech and language disorders in students K-12.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to students in K-12
• Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support academic achievement and social development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and intervention planning
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to help students overcome barriers to communication in a school setting
