Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Michigan is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a school setting. This contract opportunity focuses on pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to help children reach their communication goals.

You will work with educators, families, and specialists to create a supportive environment, participate in IEP meetings, and deliver individual or small-group therapy to students from elementary to high school age.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license for Michigan (or eligibility for licensure).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
• Experience in pediatric or school settings is preferred.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication disorders.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed.
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans tailored to students’ needs and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to deliver services and monitor student progress.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and professional standards.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates.
• Facilitate small group and individual therapy sessions within the school environment.
• Support students’ social and academic growth through targeted speech and language interventions.
